Navigate in Science, the theme of the fourth edition of the Kativik summer Science Camp! For the second consecutive year, Science Camp is being held in Inukjuak, a community situated on Hudson Bay, more than 1300 kilometers north of Montreal. The participants come from 10 of the Nunavik communities along Ungava Bay, Hudson Bay, and Hudson Straight. Kativik personnel, including teachers, counsellors and principals, as well as animators with a science and recreational background are here to keep everyone happy and entertained! Our house mothers see that all is in order in the residence.

Three junior counsellors help keep campers in line and assist the animators in their workshops. The "campers" days are well filled with scientific and recreational activities. Besides the eight fun mini-workshops that all the students attend, each camper participates in a thematic activity spread over a few days. There is also a time set aside for recreational activities ranging from sports and acrobatics to Yatzee and origami. We invite you to navigate our web site. We hope that you will be lured to participate in our camp next year!

Happy navigating…
