Bridging Time
Inukjuaq Science Camp 2001
Day 2

We rallied up the teachers to decide which students would participate in each of the streams.
The students had a choice between Journalism and Web Page, Electronics, Biomechanics, Animation and Forensics. Most campers were lucky enough to get their first choice.

Potassium is a valued member of our kitchen staff.
Three cheers for Potassium!

This is the bug they will create in the biomechanics workshop.

Hydrogen was re-enacting the scene of a crime.....just joking. This hand was created in her biomechanics workshop to demonstrate how a human hand functions.

Reinforcing the joints with extra tape will help keep the dome up.

Will the dome stand on its own?

Making the strongest bridge was not an easy task. To determine the strongest bridge weights would be laid on them.

With a few popsicle sticks and a little glue it's incredible what you can build. Dan was building his bridge for strength.

Jump up! Extra-curricular took place in the community gym with Neon and Tungsten. The students really enjoyed working out.

The chemical pie workshop didn't sound too tasty but it wasn't so bad after all. Some people found it finger licking good.
