Bridging Time
Inukjuaq Science Camp 2001
Day 3

Iodine was meticulous with his characters during the animation workshop. The students made some pretty neat things.

The students managed to make a lot of different kinds of characters for animation using pipe cleaners, clay, styrofoam and wire.

Line up for supper.....the food was something to look forward to each day. Titanium is a great addition to our kitchen staff, including the wonderful team he has working with him.

These two guys have the same name but no one knew that until the last day of camp. For the week, their names were Tungsten and Titanium.

Electricity with Niobium was something to look forward to on day three. Generating electricity with vegetables and fruits was neat.

Making speakers in the electricity workshop was challenging but everyone managed to get it working.

Samson had fun fingerprinting the suspects in the
Forensic Workshop.

Cobalt was making a mold of the suspect's footprint to help determine who stole the parrot. The motive was also important to consider.

Charlie made some neat green slime in the
chemistry workshop.

Matthew made some pretty stretchy slime.

Cobalt was trying to get Charlie to take the slime but he just wouldn't bite. Made with borax and other stuff it was pretty slimy.

Making catapolts were done in the shop with wood, nails, some power tools and some rubber tire pieces. They made a variety of different kinds.

Rachael built a great bridge.

Playing fussball at break time was a lot of fun.

Carbon was one of the prime suspects in the investigation during the forensics workshop. Blood typing was all part of the process to narrow down the guilty person.
Who stole the parrot?
Carbon yelled, "Not I!"

If you can see number 24 you will notice Boron using his fancy laser pointer. Cryptography was interesting for most campers . Some were able to solve the code with relative ease while some others struggled.
Overall, everyone had a good time.
By the way, Boron is sitting down..
